My Story

From a Fine Arts background, I graduated from Suffolk Community College and transferred to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) to complete my bachelor's in Graphic Design. Things were looking up after I finished FIT. I worked at PSEG Long Island, an electrical company, for over a year. Until the pandemic hit and changed everything, it was the biggest setback of my life because I lost my job. But I couldn’t let that stop me from wanting to create and to help others. That is where UX Design/Product Design came in and changed my view entirely. Knowing that my design and research would help those with accessibility and ease of use gave me the motivation to dive further into learning UX Design and attend General Assembly to gain a deeper understanding of the field. With my four-plus years within the field in UX and UI, I’ve grown and developed further understanding of Design.
